TechCalcu is a free resource for PC builders and gamers. We build simple calculators and in-depth hardware guides that answer practical questions: Will this CPU hold back my graphics card? How big a power supply do I need? Is a RAM or SSD upgrade worth it? Every tool shows how it works, so you can see the reasoning behind each number.

Founder & Editor, TechCalcu
Adnan founded TechCalcu to give PC builders and gamers quick answers without hiding the reasoning. He writes the site’s hardware guides, builds and maintains the calculators, and reviews the content when new hardware launches.
His focus is practical performance: CPU and GPU balance, power supplies, memory, storage, cooling and smart upgrade decisions.
What you will find here

- Gaming and utilities: K/D Calculator, Pixels to Inches Converter and more on the Tools page.
Hardware guides
Our guides explain the topics behind the numbers: finding your bottleneck, choosing a power supply, DDR5 vs DDR4, storage, cooling and when an upgrade is worth the money.
How we build our calculators
- Manufacturer specifications first. Power figures use the official limits published by Intel (PL2), AMD (PPT) and the GPU makers (total board power).
- Clear assumptions. Performance tools use approximate performance tiers rather than claiming lab-grade precision, and each tool page explains what it does and does not account for.
- Kept current. In October 2026 we added the latest hardware, including NVIDIA RTX 50, AMD Radeon RX 9000, AMD Ryzen 9000 and Intel Core Ultra 200S processors.
- Honest limits. Results are estimates. Real performance depends on your exact parts, drivers, settings and cooling, so confirm critical requirements with the manufacturer before you buy.

Our editorial standards
Guides are researched from manufacturer documentation, official specifications and independent testing. We may use AI tools to help with drafting and editing, but every page is reviewed and fact-checked by a person before it is published, and that person remains responsible for its accuracy. Each guide shows its author and the date it was last updated.
When hardware or facts change, we update the page. In October 2026, for example, we reviewed all of our guides, corrected outdated claims and refreshed them for current hardware. See our editorial policy for the full process.
Corrections
If you find a mistake in a guide or a result that looks wrong, please tell us at contact@techcalcu.com or through the contact page. We read every message and fix confirmed errors as quickly as we can.
Independence and funding
TechCalcu is free to use. The site may show ads or include affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through one at no extra cost to you. Ads and affiliate relationships never change calculator results or guide recommendations, and no manufacturer pays us to change our conclusions.
